Convert score to Cambridge shields
The shield conversion feature helps student convert their score on FLYER to the standard Cambridge shield system.
At skill level:
1 shield = you need to hone that skill further.
Achieving the maximum 5 shields = you completed that part of the test very well and answered most of the questions correctly.
At the comprehensive exam level:
Achieving a total of 15 shields = excellent and capable enough to continue to the next level
Achieving a total of 10 - 14 shields = good and capable of continuing to the next level
Achieving a total of 7 - 9 shields = your skills are quite good and need to be improved
If you only get a total of less than 6 shields = you need to practice hard and hone your skills
To know your current level according to Cambridge standards, follow these steps:
Option 1: Convert shields in the History section
This way you can only view the latest tests
Step 1: Click History in the upper left corner of the screen

Step 2: Click on the Cambridge shield icon.

A detailed report will show up with information about your current levels & skills, as well as recommendations on how to improve your score based on your latest test.

*Note: This feature can only convert shields at 3 levels: Starters, Movers, and Flyers. If you have not taken any questions at the 3 levels above, the system does not have data to convert the shield.
Option 2: Convert shields after each test
Step 1: Take any challenge you want to practice
Step 2: After completing the test, FLYER will show your test score along with the Cambridge Shield assessment
